Everything Is A Cinch By The Inch And Hard By The Yard

August 28, 2018

I can remember very vividly the day I read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill for the very first time. I learned that you can do whatever you want. I immediately started setting several big, hairy, humongous goals.

Then one day, my coach said to me, “Everything is a cinch by the inch.” And he suggested, “Why don’t you practice with one goal at a time and it will be a bit more achievable?” And I relaxed, it just seemed easier. We like what’s familiar so much so that sometimes we become comfortable with not getting things done because we are trying to do so much at one time.

If You Don’t Feel Willing Yet, Ask Yourself, “Am I Willing to Become Willing?”

August 23, 2018

I was once told that my progress in business would be directly linked to my willingness to do whatever it takes to create an organized, deliberate business system.  Now I had to look at how willing I really was to have predictable consistent reliable monthly income.

What you may discover over time is just how powerful willingness really is. It seems to me that when you become willing to do whatever it takes, you really begin to unlock the power of the unconscious mind. Once you’ve created your vision of a deliberate, organized business system, producing a predictable consistent reliable monthly income, say to yourself, “I’m willing to do whatever it takes to create the peace and the happiness that a consistent, predictable, reliable income will provide me.”  Then notice and accept the thoughts and the feelings that come up. If you don’t feel willing yet, ask yourself, “Am I willing to become willing?”

A useful tool to ask is, “What is my current level of willingness on a scale of 1 low, 10 high? And am I willing to go higher?” As you start to become aware of your developing willingness, you’ll begin to notice that it’s easier than you think to create an organized business system. So you go to ask yourself, “Am I willing to do whatever it takes to be happy, joyful, and free?”

Good Teachers, Good Coaches, Good Mentors Will Tell You, “Never Be a Follower.”

August 20, 2018

There’s an enormous difference between finding your own inner wisdom versus adopting someone else’s beliefs. If you take on someone else’s beliefs to replace a belief of your own, you may experience a temporary high or a placebo effect, but you have not found a lasting answer. However, if you replace an old belief with the realization from your own inner wisdom, the results are superior and permanent. It’s one thing to listen to the words of the wise, and it’s quite another to be a follower.

Good teachers, good coaches, good mentors will tell you, “Never be a follower.”

A wise teacher will draw out of you innate knowledge.
