I can remember very vividly the day I read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill for the very first time. I learned that you can do whatever you want. I immediately started setting several big, hairy, humongous goals.
Then one day, my coach said to me, “Everything is a cinch by the inch.” And he suggested, “Why don’t you practice with one goal at a time and it will be a bit more achievable?” And I relaxed, it just seemed easier. We like what’s familiar so much so that sometimes we become comfortable with not getting things done because we are trying to do so much at one time.
